Hope for Handicapped & Challenged Creatures

Say "HI" to Poppy!  Other than the wheelchair and some of her related health struggles, she is a happy and spoiled goat!   Her owner in the US gave me permission to share about her.

Poppy was born with her back legs paralyzed.   Her owner adopted her at the tender age of three days old, determined to help her because she was so sweet and happy.  The owner enlisted university vet school help to get her set up with her wheelchair and leg issues.   Besides her paralysis she has dealt with weight issues (underweight)- which is common when the lower spine is affected as the GI won't always work correctly in those cases and her legs being stiff from chronic/recurrent infections.   I'm also going to add that because she has to pull herself forward with only her front legs, rather than doing an upright walk and bouncing with four legs,  that the shoulder assembly and front legs are going to experience more wear and tear than normal.   And their is always going to be the watch that she doesn't get any pressure injuries (bed sores).   Her owner found me and already this cuddly goat is putting on weight just a few days after starting her whole herb program.  Because of the amount of herbs she is using we started her on a graduated approach.  It is quite evident that she has had great care by looking at her shiny healthy coat, nose, eyes and attitude.

She is taking DWA™ which is standard for any livestock or pet animal that could be exposed to minute moving creatures in their environment which often are ingested.

GI Soother™ will be used 2x daily until she is at normal weight for her size.  Then at a lessor rate because they live in an area that is humid which exposes them to additional risks of ingesting things that can severely damage the gi tract.

AKing Joint™  support is awesome for anything that wants swelling support.

Wounderful!™  Salve Is wonderful support for any skin or tissue having issues or needing support to help the body be it's strongest.   In Poppy's case that is anywhere that may show signs of stress from her equipment, as well as any joints needing support in helping them to health themselves to have the best chance at gaining flexibility and strength over time.    I use this product frequently on myself- both on areas where an old injury may flair up or with new injuries.  I try to avoid injuries to myself, but well,  I have a farm and livestock and like to work out so they happen!
