I always fed it whenever I saw coat color loss or forked tails on my goats or livestock. I usually mix it will kelp and sprinkle it on feed. It can also be offered free choice mixed in kelp or made into a tea and added to their drinking water (add up the total animal weight in the pen and use that dose in the amount of water they will drink in a day). GI Soother™ is a carefully formulated traditional herb blend that has been used in situations such as: diarrheal incidents in livestock, pets, and poultry from coccidia, bacterium, ulcers, pasty vent and Haemoncus contortus (barberpole worm). It is in a powder form so very easy to put in bottles or lambars or mix in feed or mash or with a liquid and carefully drenched. We use it on our farm daily in rainy weather, and every 2 to 4 days in nice weather with our dairy goat kids.
