From time to time I get this question so thought I would address it here for your thoughtful consideration. Here was my answer to a post today... I never recommend that. It doesn't match parasite physiology or reality with livestock or pets. Most livestock are reinfecting themselves with eggs or larvae from their environment several times a week. Even in cold winter environments bedding and manure inside keeps parasites alive long enough to animals to ingest eggs if they are known to pick hay or grain off of the ground that is dropped. Or for those that may have chickens walking on or in feeders after walking over animal manures. If one only deworms monthly then they have plenty of time to have parasites mature to egg laying adults which have been feeding on your animals insides for 3 plus weeks and are already reproducing and dumping eggs back onto your farm. I recommend giving herbs at least twice per week, more if an animal or situation requires it such as humid warm climates. of course the week of the full moon you can time one of those for then. The moon protocol is best kept for humans as long as those humans are being careful to not reinfect themselves as well. There you go. Wishing you all an amazing year filled with blessing and hope and goodness :).
